Greys: I got left behind in season 5

I think the last time I watched Greys Anatomy was something like over a year ago! I have all the episodes on my hard drive, but I was left behind somewhere in season 5!! That’s how long ago I had time/ or shall I say was lazy enough to just lie and watch series on my own! ;) But last night and this morning I started catching up again – and Oh how wonderful it feels to loaf around the house again till late afternoon in my PJ’s, just like when I used to be single J It’s Awesome! Currently I’m at the episode where O’Mally got driven over by a bus!! And Issy just came back to life after the opp complications – it’s really so intense! I’m crying my eyes out, but it feels so fantastic! J It fascinates me how people, like myself, can find so much joy from watching mindless sh1t like this – but u have to admit, it’s a gripping series!! J

Other than that… the builders (or shall I call them breakers) are still busy digging up the whole right perimeter of our garden. However, I have decided that I can choose to ignore them!!! So, when I take Jenn outside to “hurry up” I wear my PJ’s, because why should I deprive myself of the liberty to walk around my own garden like a senile old lady in my baggy pants and over sized shirt in the middle of the day!!? :P

I’m not actually sure if they’re doing anything – they’ve been busy digging since Monday! I donno how long it honestly takes to fix a broken pipe? But, then again this  is Africa – there’s no limit as to how long thongs can take around here!! :P The poor fish is also still living in a bucket… I’m quite surprised that it’s still alive! Shame.

Ok, I’m going to watch some more Greys now and then I should probably take a shower! I will also try to tame our little puppy-beast before tonight’s puppy socialising class!

Another knock at the door... it was the kitchen contractors who needed to measure a cupboard to replace the glass rack they chipped. What would all these people have done if I weren't home to look after the puppy!! :P At least our kitchen is now nearly complete: it's such a stunning one! I feel like making some good old comfort food today. Viennas in cheese sauce on toast? Or maybe something completely new? Like risotto! I only tried it once before and don't remember it being particularly great... anybody know the secret to making a good risotto?
